СТРЕЛКА

Strelka, the place where Oka merges into Volga, was once a lively port. Now it's in decline, still it has a certain aesthetic and historical value to it. It is a shame nor citizens neither even tourists are allowed there.
The well known letters, nice to sit on.
The scenery from the opposite bank of the river is very unusual. Rozhdestvenskaya st. is beautiful.

Abandoned boats, however sad, are beautiful.
Many thanks to architecture critic & journalist Marina.
If you're fond of city little details, surfaces and patterns - this is a goldmine-place.
The Russian Empire lives on, hah, though the coat of arms is almost gone.
Farewell shot. Unexpected religious mark.
"After Confession" (AO in the picture)
fun
